St. Andrew’s Episcopal School Financial Aid applications will be accepted through March 31, 2017. After that date, the Financial Aid Committee will meet to review applications.
St. Andrew’s offers financial aid from several sources. Any student who qualifies for admission, but does not have the necessary financial resources to attend, should apply.
Financial aid is based on a yearly assessment of the family’s financial situation. To apply, parents file a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) with the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS), sponsored by the National Association of Independent Schools and administered by the Educational Testing Service in Princeton, New Jersey. The parent pays a nonrefundable fee for the service. Families can login by visiting the SSS for Families website at http://sssbynais.org/parents and clicking “Complete Your PFS” or by linking directly to the PFS at https://sss.secure.force.com/familyportal. St. Andrew’s Episcopal School code is 6269.
After you pay for and submit your PFS, you will have access in the PFS Online to a section called “My Documents.” You can upload the additional required documents there. Required documents include the following where applicable, 2016 1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ, 2016 W2 Form, 2016 Schedule C, 2016 1099 Forms. Please note the school’s financial aid deadline is prior to the federal filing deadline.
St. Andrew’s uses the report provided by SSS for Financial Aid in granting financial aid. Financial aid does not cover transportation, lunch, or other incidental charges.
Within the limits of the funds available, the school tries to make significant financial aid available. Financial aid is offered for one year at a time. Applicants must be reconsidered for financial aid each year.
Please contact the Admissions Office at 757-596-6261 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or need further assistance.
